Class 15 – Year 6
Welcome to Class 15. Croeso i Ddosbarth 15!
Our project title for the Autumn Term is ‘United in Diversity’. To launch our diversity project we held a carousel of activities across the Upper Key Stage team. It was lovely to see so many parents join us as we danced, drew, dough kneaded and designed our way through a variety of activities:
This term in Science we will learn about ’Bacteria and the Human Body’ whilst in Art we will study and create our very own Andy Warhol artwork. RE will examine our Creative Stories, whilst in ICT we will look at keeping safe online and creative multimedia in addition to using Hwb as a learning tool. Our ‘Parental Information Sheet’ for Class 15 can be found here.
If you are not yet doing so, we would recommend you follow us on Twitter (@GaerPrimary). Throughout the week children’s learning is celebrated through Twitter using the #GPSClass15 hash tag. Keep up to date with what is happening in our school by downloading the Schoop App.
Please remember that school uniform must be warn at all times:
White Shirt and Tie (Autumn and Spring Terms)
Royal Blue V-neck Sweatshirt or Cardigan
Charcoal Grey Trousers / Skirt / Dress / Grey Tights
Blue and White Gingham Dress / Grey Shorts (optional for Summer Term)
We thank you for your continued support in ensuring the children look so smart! Our PE days are Tuesdays and Thursdays. We would strongly recommend bringing PE kits on a Monday and taking them home on a Friday. Please be reminded that PE kit is made up of:
PE Kit Indoor: Navy Shorts / White Round-Neck T-shirt
PE Kit Outdoor: Navy Hooded Sweatshirt / Navy Jogging Bottoms / Trainers
Home Learning will be given out every Friday and must be returned by the following Wednesday. Please ensure the children maintain the high standards of presentation and layout that they produce in class. Home Learning can be found by clicking here.
If you have any queries please do not hesitate in contacting myself via the school office. Many thanks,
Mr Coles and Mrs Balouch.
