Something important to remember about our class!
We have launched our Summer term project. We had a fantastic launch day and the children thoroughly enjoyed going on a special trip to Noahs Ark Zoo Farm in Bristol. The children learnt about different types of animals, their characteristics and the habitats they live in. They really enjoyed an educational workshop of animals from Africa.
We always listen to the voice of our pupils and here are their thoughts on what they want to learn about this project…….

Please remember that school uniform must be worn at all times.
We are very keen to promote and provide outdoor learning at every opportunity for your children.
During the cooler and wetter months, please ensure that your child has the apropriate clothing for outdoor activities.
During the warmer months, please ensure that your children have a sun hat and that they have been applied with sun cream before coming to school.
We also aim to keep our uniform standards high during P.E. and it is very important to ensure that appropriate clothing is also worn during these sessions.
Our P.E. includes...
PE Kit Indoor: Navy Shorts / White Round-Neck T-shirt
PE Kit Outdoor: Navy Hooded Sweatshirt / Navy Jogging Bottoms / Trainers
Our P.E. sessions will take place on Tuesday weekly. It is in essential part of staying fit and healthy and we promote a positive attitude towards exercise and healthy living.
We aim to promote healthy living throughout the school also. If you could please provide your child with a drinks bottle for during class time so they can have access to water readily. Children are also encouraged to bring a healthy snack to school for their morning break.
Home learning, spellings and reading books will be given out on a Friday. Home learning folders will need to be returned by Wednesday so that they can be marked and updated. Please ensure that these are returned.
