Croeso I Dosbarth 13, 2018/2019
Welcome to the page for class 13. We hope that you find all the information that you need here.
We welcome special visitors into our school, people who would like to share their experiences with our learners. If you know of anyone who would take the time to visit our learners, please let us know.
This term in Science we will continue to learn about the adventures of explorer Anthony Jinman; whilst in DT we will build our own catapult! RE will examine religions within the local community and in ICT we will look at e-safety in the autumn term; and revisit Hwb as a learning tool and get creative in using our new Apple Mac computers!
We are also looking forward to the annual Christmas concert; launch day of our new topic; and sharing learning with you during parent consultations.
Our ‘Parental Information Sheet’ for Class 13 can be found here.
If you are not yet doing so, we would recommend you follow us on Twitter (@GaerPrimary). Throughout the week children’s learning is celebrated through Twitter using the #GPSClass13 hash tag.
Please remember that school uniform must be warn at all times:
We thank you for your continued support in ensuring the children look so smart! Our PE days are Tuesdays and Thursdays. We would strongly recommend bringing PE kits on a Monday and taking them home on a Friday.
Please be reminded that PE kit is made up of:
Home Learning will be given out every Friday and must be returned by the following Wednesday. Please ensure the children maintain the high standards of presentation and layout that they produce in class. Home Learning can be found by clicking here. Please remember to check out our twitter #GPSClass13 every Friday, as we announce our class home learning champions.
Home learning club is every Monday in Mrs Thomas’s class, if your child feels that they need any further support.
We encourage learners in Class 13 to change their reading books daily. Each child gets a ‘Davies’ point if they return their book, so please encourage them to do so.
If you have any queries please do not hesitate in contacting myself via the school office. Many thanks,
